空 doesn’t mean everything is false, it doesn’t make life less purposeful to live, or things less meaningful to do. On the other hand, by understanding life illusions caused by impermanence and suffering, and we purify our 心, many things become clearer, heart joyous and life meaningful.
Everything starts from the heart. When we are doing something, our intention determines whether it is right or wrong, meaningful or not. The same thing can be done by different people, but the 发心 can be different. We are all born neutral. Living in this world tainted our hearts. By purifying our hearts, we change our thoughts, change our actions and change our lives. In turn, this changes the world. It may take this lifetime, many lifetimes, or forever. Through understanding what cause life sufferings, we experience joy.
