When we listen to Dharma Teaching we must remember this advice from the wise: we must have the attitude that the Teacher is the doctor, the dharma is the medicine prescribed and the hearer is the patient. After receiving the Teaching we must diligently adhere to the advices, and practice on what are being taught in order to reap the result of the teaching, so as to cure ourselves from Samsaric sufferings.
