The cessation of both the objects of awareness and awareness of them is the truth of the cessation of suffering.

“The Noble Eightfold Path—including right view and so on—that directly takes nibbāna as its object is truth of the path.

In short, all of the mental and physical phenomena that arise and pass away in ordinary people are suffering and the causes of suffering: attachment, desire, or craving is the truth of the cause of suffering, and everything else is the truth of suffering. The cessation of both the objects of awareness and awareness of them is the truth of the cessation of suffering.

The mental state of experiencing that cessation is the truth of the path.”
