“Check your own mind! Is there a deep-felt sense of revulsion? Have you realized in your heart that all samsaric activities are pointless? Do you still nurture attachment to worldly activities? Are you constantly aware of impermanence? Do you treat every minute of your life as if it could be your last? Do you have real renunciation? Do you truly feel in your heart that all sentient beings are like your father and mother? Do tears come to your eyes the moment you remember your root guru? Are you always undistracted from awareness wisdom? Do you have pure perception of everyone and everything?”
