In fact, people all over the world do complain. Why?
Because they don’t want to suffer. If they don’t want to suffer, then why do they keep thinking in ways that lead to suffering?
Because they aren’t alert to what’s happening inside themselves. When this is the case, what can they use to be alert to these things?
They have to use mindfulness and wisdom to keep up with what’s happening inside the mind. In that way, they can hold on to at least something for themselves in the beginning stages of the practice.
With constant practice, they’ll eventually be able to keep up with everything that happens inside the mind.
