If the Buddhist who does not eat meals after noon, no onion, no garlic, no meat does it with the understanding of emptiness

If the Buddhist who does not eat meals after noon, no onion, no garlic, no meat does it with the understanding of emptiness – the understanding that there’s no onion, no garlic, no eating, no not eating, he will not be judgmental towards someone who’s been stuffing himself with garlic and meat and alcohol. He will not become puritanical, he will have compassion towards people who do not follow his morality. This understanding of emptiness is the wisdom that generates compassion.
