The sky is never disturbed or changed by the occurrence of clouds.

“The sky is never disturbed or changed by the occurrence of clouds. The sky neither entertains the hope that rainbows will arise nor suffers disappointment if they don’t. Chenrezi’s vajra mind never moves from the absolute nature, no matter how extensive or pervasive his compassionate activity for beings. Appearing to beings in innumerable ways, in reality he never moves from the sphere of voidness.”

Kyabje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche – The Heart Treasure of the Enlightened Ones – in ‘The Path of the Tantras, Collected Works Vol II p 343, Shambhala
