“The human personality is a shell of spiritual life energy. The energy does not change, the envelopes change. Therefore, I was never born, so I will never die. What really happens is that I’m in a new body, reincarnate.
I assume a new carnal shell:
re-incarnation. But I was never born,
I will never die. There is no time in which I was not or in which I will not be.
I found myself in a tiny something from the seed and the ovum, and they became fertile. I stayed there, so they grew. I gave them my life, radiated it through this body. Thus it became a fetus, a child, a woman or a man. I go my way. This body will die, it will be burnt or buried. It is disposed of, but I pass on. I now take a mental cover. This mental personality rests in my subtle body (sukshma-sharira) .
We now understand what the subtle body is. It is not shaped like this visible body. Rather, it is a combination of different powers, my consciousness, my pranas , my mind, my function of intelligence and distinction, all more subtler than the physical body, but denser than the pure spiritual being.
