佛法不是专门治病、让你发财或是得到很好的考试成绩，当然佛法会带来无尽的福报与幸福，但是佛教的最终目的不是如此，佛教讲究的是调整自心，对治烦恼，然後慢慢变成一个很有慈悲、爱心、智慧的人。 但是很多人求法的发心不是这样，可能因为生病了，只要有人能治他的病就是佛菩萨。 如果只是一般世间的求财治病，不一定要靠佛法，可以去医院、找好的医生或是风水师等解决。 大家求法的心不对了，才会依止不正确的人。 佛法最终目的还是四圣谛所说的： 「了解痛苦的根源以及怎麽断除痛苦。痛苦来自於我们的烦恼业力，我们要断除烦恼，面对烦恼，这才是佛法的主要精髓。」 第十七世大宝法王
